The Roblox experience now ships under the public title [CLASSES] Catch 1 Billion Ducks. That prefix is not flavor text. Billion Duck Hunters added a Feather-gated class layer on top of the old loop: equip a weapon, prepare your dog, shoot ducks, sell the haul, upgrade. Classes change the hunter identity you take into a day — a starting local kit, a flame Pyromancer, or a Military Soldier with an M4-style loadout — while dogs still fetch and the freezer still pays cash.

What a class actually is

A class is a lobby unlock that swaps your hunter identity and the weapon fantasy attached to it. Community write-ups of the Classes-era shop describe three named identities players actually chase:

Classes do not replace dogs. Jeff still retrieves. Duckle still helps if you claimed the group gift. A Pyromancer with a slow dog still leaks kills into the pond. Upgrade the companion in upgrade dog Jeff after you pick a class, not instead of picking one.

How to unlock a class (lobby flow)

1. Finish or skip into the lobby so the shop HUD is visible. Do not try to buy a class in the middle of a hunt day.
2. Check your Feather counter. Hunt cash (from selling ducks) and Feathers are different currencies.
3. Redeem DUCKS for 100 Feathers if you have not already — active codes and how to redeem.
4. Open the shop row that lists hunting classes.
5. Buy the class you can actually fire comfortably on your device (PC Left Click / R / E / Esc, console RT / X / A / B, or mobile on-screen buttons).
6. Equip the class loadout, prepare the dog, then start a day so you can feel clear speed versus the starter kit.

If the class button does nothing, you are short on Feathers. Farm a day, sell, bank boss Feathers, redeem the code, then return. Do not buy Robux until you have tested whether the next class is even the bottleneck — upgrade priority still applies.

Where Feathers come from

Feathers drop slowly from ordinary ducks (White Duck is documented at 0.01 Feathers in the Duck Index), spike on boss days, and now also arrive from DUCKS. That is why the code is worth redeeming before you grind the first class. Group rewards still matter: free rewards and Duckle improve the retrieve side so class damage is not wasted on uncollected bodies.

After a class purchase, keep farming Feathers for the next shop row. Heavier guns such as an Anti-Air Cannon sit in the same Feather economy. A class without a gun you can aim is a costume with extra steps.

What else the class shop sells

The same lobby layer sells:

• Weapons beyond the starter — including an expensive Anti-Air Cannon in community shop reports.
• Dog costumes — duck-themed outfit and a Rex-style suit. These are visual. They do not make Jeff deposit faster. That job belongs to Dog Dexterity.

Spend order after DUCKS: class or combat gun first, costume last. If you can only afford a hat, hunt one more day.

How classes interact with bosses and days

Devil Duck, Boss Duck, and Titan-scale swarms still care about damage, reload, pellet coverage, and dog logistics. A class that raises fire rate helps flocks; a class that only looks cooler does not. Test the new kit on a normal day before you skip into Devil Duck or Boss Duck. If the kit feels worse than the local starter on your device, refund is unlikely in a Roblox shop — so try the class on a quiet server first.

Day skips and V-key boss prompts do not change. Classes ride on top of how to play and clear a day fast.

Common mistakes

• Skipping the code. One hundred Feathers is the cheapest class head start on the wiki right now.
• Buying a costume first. Cosmetics do not clear Devil Duck.
• Ignoring the dog. Classes shoot; dogs convert shots into freezer value.
